Liberty Hill WIC Clinic: 

WIC services are free to those who are eligible which include:

• Pregnant women
• Women who are breastfeeding a baby under one year of age
• Women who have had a baby in the past six months
• Parents, step-parents, guardians, and foster parents of infants and children under five can apply for their children

If you have a job or if you have private health insurance, you can still apply for WIC.

• Call the WIC office most convenient for you to make an appointment. (See Locations & Hours for WIC locations and phone numbers.)
• Bring documentation of household income. You must bring documentation for everyone in your household who works, or has another source of income. Examples of documentation: check stubs, recent tax return, statement from employer, child support statement or check stub, SSI statement
• Applicants and certain family members who receive Medicaid, TANF, or Food Stamps automatically meet income eligibility. You must bring current proof of participation in one of these programs, but do not need to bring other income documents.
• Bring documentation of where you are currently living such as a utility bill or rent receipt. Sorry, we cannot accept PO Boxes.
• Undergo a simple health screen and nutrition assessment to determine nutritional risk.
• Each applicant must present an acceptable form of Identification.

• Individual nutrition assessment and counseling by a Registered Dietitian (RD), degreed nutritionist, or nurse.
• Group nutrition education classes.
• Breastfeeding education and support.
• A monthly food package that includes healthy supplemental foods.
• Referral to services such as immunizations, healthcare, social services, Medicaid, and food stamps.
