Accepting Applications for the LV DDA Board of Directors!
Are you a business/property owner in the commercial district? Are you looking to become more involved in the many projects, programs and initiatives of the LVDDA? Then we have the perfect opportunity for you! There are four (4) seats currently set to expire on the LV DDA DDA Board of Directors. These are 4-year terms.
About the LV DDA
The Downtown Development Authority is governed by a nine (9) member Board of Directors, appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council. The DDA Board is comprised of residents, business owners, and elected officials who volunteer their time to improve the community. The DDA is responsible for streetscaping improvements, grant funding for businesses, events such as Juneteeth Celebration and Shop Small Winter Market, and a bi-annual corridor cleanups.
Meetings are held in-person on the 3rd Friday of the month at 12 Noon.
To be considered, applicants must be either property or business owners in the district (Southfield, 11 Mile and 12 Mile Roads). To apply, please complete the application for Boards and Commissions and return by January 13th to firstname.lastname@example.org.
