Our Staff is always available to help answer questions and troubleshoot water and sewer related issues as best as they can. Please feel free to contact us. Questions about your billing should be directed to the Water Billing at (248) 557-2600 ext. 221 or to
water@lathrupvillage.org or to the
Treasurer's Office. Requesting Final Water Bills
When purchasing, selling, or renting a property, residents need to request a final water bill to ensure that the right party is paying for the water service up to the agreed upon date. Final bills are mailed or customers may also come in and pick up the final bill once it has been processed.
Water and Sewer BillsRegular bills for Water and Sewer use are mailed monthly. These bills are calculated based upon the metered usage of water collected by members of our
Department of Public Service (commonly called "DPS"). While the actual water meter itself is typically located in your basement the readings are collected outside of the home. DPS staff reads and maintains all water meters and will assist residents in locating water leaks in their homes.
