City Clerk

Responsibilities

The city clerk is the official keeper of the records and the city seal. The City 
Clerk is also responsible for 

- Records minutes of the city council, zoning board of appeals, and all special
   meetings called by the city Council.

-Administers oath of office

-Processes legal documents (ordinances, bids, resolutions, etc.)

-- Freedom of Information Act forms
-- Sewer Back-up Notice of Claim forms and information
-- CDBG funds
-- SMART credits. 
-- Solicitation, Peddler Application Form

The City Clerk  administers all local, State, and Federal elections which are held in the Community Room of the Municipal Building.

There are two precincts for the City of Lathrup Village. Both are located in the Municipal Building at:

27400 Southfield Rd.
Lathrup Village, MI
