The Winchester Public Schools has been busy rolling out the COVID-19 Testing Program created by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (DESE) and we are excited to share our progress. We have already conducted over 2000 tests! Visit the COVID-19 Testing site for detailed information.
I want to introduce Stephanie Blass who is the district’s new COVID-19 Response Coordinator and will be the key testing program point person. She has already been instrumental in launching the program. I want to recognize Jess Fefferman for her incredible dedication to the WPS Testing Program over the past 8 weeks. Thank you to the School Nurses and Principals for their ongoing hard work and support to make COVID-19 testing in our schools possible. We appreciate all of the students who are participating to minimize the spread of COVID-19 and keep our schools healthy and open.
Finally, the Town of Winchester has a COVID-19 testing clinic Monday, November 1 from 4-6pm at Town Hall with spots still available. More details can be found here: winchester.us/testing
