Clothespin Bat Instructions

You will need: black and white acrylic paint and school glue

  • Fold the bat wings back at the dotted line.
  • Place a small amount of glue onto the folded area on the wings and glue onto the sides of the clothespin.
  • Glue the ears (the two triangle shaped pieces of paper) inside the top of the clothespin.
  • Glue the googly eyes onto the pin.
  • Using white paint, give your bat a smile with fangs.
  • Send us a photo of your finished bat on the Gallery 194 Facebook page or via email to

Mini Pony Bead Pumpkins

  • Group up the orange, white, and/or yellow pipe cleaners so they are even on both ends and twist them together a few times in the center.
  • Spread out each pipe cleaner so that they are evenly spaced away from each other.
  • Add beads to each “leg” leaving a little bit of space clear of beads at the top.
  • Pull all of the “legs” up together.
  • Twist the top of the pipe cleaners together to form the base for the stem.
  • Wrap the middle of the green pipe cleaner around the base of the orange stem leaving each end of that pipe cleaner sticking out.
  • Then curl both the ends of the green pipe cleaner using something like a pencil to make the vine.
  • Wrap the brown pipe cleaner around the orange stem to make the actual stem of the pumpkin.
  • Sit the pumpkin on its bottom and squish it down to give it a round shape.
  • Send us a photo of your finished pumpkin on the Gallery 194 Facebook page or via email to!
