The Band School of Franklin, directed by Ms. Nicole Wright, provides students in grades 4-9 the opportunity to participate in small group instrumental lessons after school, and participate in two full ensemble concerts, one in December and one in April.
Lessons are taught by professional musicians and educators, with additional support provided by Franklin High School music mentors.

--Classes will be held on Tuesday afternoons at Horace Mann Middle School beginning September 28, 2021.

Beginner I Classes (Tue., 3:30 PM, 45-min, $350):
 Check out our introductory video for Beginners!
Small group instruction for students with no prior playing experience. 
--Clarinet (also the starter instrument for saxophone)
--Trumpet (also the starter instrument for trombone, tuba, baritone)
--For drums/percussion, please consider private lessons with Lifelong Music Academy, or wait to join the middle school band in 6th grade.

Honor Band (Tue., 5:30 PM, 60-min, $375):
Honor Band is for 6-9 graders with 2 or more years of playing experience who are enthusiastic about music and want to play in an ensemble in addition to the school-day band program. Classes are held at Horace Mann Middle School on Tuesdays at 5:30 PM.  Students must be enrolled in the school-day band or take weekly private lessons. (If you wish to sign-up for the school-day band program, please contact your middle school directly.)
